What's here? at Havergate Island
Available on site
A large Pay and Display carpark can be found in Quay Street opposite the Jolly Sailor Pub and just a few minutes’ walk to Orford Quay where you will jump on the boat taking you over to Havergate.
You can pay with cash or card for the car parking.
A bicycle park and public toilets can also be found I the carpark.
One compost toilet on site with alcohol hand wash - there is no running water on site. There are further public toilets at Orford Quay.
A few picnic benches/ tables on site.
5 hides overlooking the saline lagoons.
There is a single linear track connecting all of the hides.

No Accessible toilet on Havergate Island.

Not wheelchair Accessible.
BBQs are a fire risk, endangering other people and the precious wildlife and habitats here. They are not permitted on the reserve at any time.
There is no cafe or shop here, the nearest place for food and drinks is at Orford Quay.
We recommend you bring your own food and drinks if this is likely to affect your visit.
