This nature reserve is set in a stunning mix of woodlands & wetlands on the banks of Loch Leven, with breath taking views and a diverse mix of habitats.

Become Robin Hood for the day as you explore the ancient woodlands. Visit Major Oak that’s at least 800 years old or settle down in front of our open air cinema. Children will love the play area and den-building zone.

Hear the reeds rustling in the breeze as you walk around the largest reedbed in north-west England. Will you spot an Otter, marvel at a Marsh Harrier or revel at a Red Deer? Recharge with coffee and cake in the cafe, and some retail therapy in the shop.

Explore the heathland, woodland, mudflats, and wetland to see wildlife such as Spoonbills and Dartford Warblers, before refuelling in the Café. Join us for guided wildlife walks and other events throughout the year with our large events programme.

This Lincolnshire nature reserve is a special place. Whichever season you visit, there's wildlife to watch and trails to tromp. Spy foraging Avocets, boxing Hares, and hunting Hen Harriers all at Frampton Marsh.

Look out for dragonflies darting over the ponds and watch birds swoop across the lagoons in the setting sun. Your little ones will love playing in our giant sand pit and wild play area too.

Take a walk through reedbeds and along the estuary to see waterbirds and dragonflies. Join us most Saturday mornings in the summer for our moth reveal – see what colourful creatures have been attracted to our light overnight.
