Parking at Ryan’s Field, off Chenhall's Road. No car parking at Carnsew, though parking within 500 metres in Hayle. There is a 2.1m height barrier at the entrance to the car park. This can be removed for disabled access if we are given a week's notice.
Eric Grace Memorial Hide with open picture windows overlooking the saltmarsh and lagoon at Ryan's Field. Step-free, level access. Fixed benches.
Copperhouse Creek can be accessed from the public highway and has a footpath at the eastern end and good views from the north shore at the King George V Memorial Walk, a 2 mile (3 km) circular walk on level Tarmac/compact gravel.
Trails here are not managed by the RSPB. There is a circular walk around Ryan's Field, 1 mile (1.3 km). Allow 40 minutes on level, surfaced terrain. Wide pedestrian gate. Bench seating with back in car park. Narrow and uneven public footpath with steps around Carnsew Pool, 1.5 miles (1.6 km). Allow 1 hour. No stiles at either.

There is no cafe or shop here, the nearest place for food and drinks is in Hayle. We recommend you bring your own food and drinks if this is likely to affect your visit.
There is no visitor centre here and this reserve does not have any staff on site.
