Since 2015, one of the UK’s top clothing brands - Weird Fish - have been creating fun and innovative clothing designs to raise in excess of £300,000 for RSPB to help nature thrive.

Overview of the partnership
Since 2015, Weird Fish have been making us smile with witty T-shirts, designed exclusively for the RSPB. From ‘Lord of the Wings’ and ‘Harrier Potter’ to ‘Starling Wars’ and ‘Ducktor Who’, every T-shirt sold through their shops and online stores generates a minimum £5 donation for the RSPB.

This partnership is a fantastic mix of fun and fundraising that enables Weird Fish to showcase its commitment to a relevant cause and reach a whole new audience of prospective customers.
The RSPB is a natural partner for this clothing brand that values the great outdoors and has clear commitments to the planet. Not only that, birds and wildlife are rich territory for the artists’ designs so our association leads to popular, sale-able garments that drive commercial sales for the business.

Maximising engagement and impact for biodiversity
In the past, to maximise engagement, we've used our combined brand power to run online competitions and polls, added inserts to our Nature's Home members’ magazine, and organised events with artists. This energetic company has also got behind our cause in other ways too, with colleagues selling pin badges, doing charity sales, volunteering (A Day with the RSPB - Weird Fish Blog), supporting our challenge events and getting stuck into wildlife-friendly gardening.
Biodiversity has been the winner as the funds are used for a range of RSPB nature projects. To find out more, contact Katy Terry or Dave Bloor.
Weird Fish PR & Brand Communications Manager, Naomi Hedicker, says:
We have now been in partnership with the RSPB since 2015, with our love for nature and the great outdoors it is a charity close to our hearts. We are so proud to promote the work they do and help raise money through the sales of our special edition T-shirts.”
