Who we are and what we do

The RSPB is Europe’s largest nature conservation charity. Our vision is to help create a world richer in nature for both wildlife and people and we work with businesses like yours to make this happen.

The RSPB has been campaigning, protecting and restoring the natural world for more than 100 years. We deliver nature saving projects that you can see from space, backed by a movement of over 5.2 million supporters, members, volunteers and local groups.

Our work connects, empowers and inspires communities and businesses across the UK and around the world to save, protect and restore nature. We know that when we work together, we can do amazing things for our natural world.

Did you know...

  • We’re the UK’s fifth largest landowner: managing and protecting more than 160,000 hectares of land for climate, nature and people.
  • We’re committed to unlocking public and private investment in nature, with a strategic ambition to have 30% of UK land managed for nature by 2030.
  • We influence those in power to put in place the policies needed to support businesses as they switch to ways of working that protect and restore the natural world.

How we can help you

  • You can be part of our world-class conservation work, developing high-profile brand partnerships to engage with consumers and attract new, diverse audiences.
  • We provide sector-leading Business Conservation Advice to develop strategies which work for business and nature. We also help put policies into practice and make sure new ways of working are effective and efficient.
  • We can help with the technical stuff — such as accessing high-integrity, UK-based Carbon Credits, Biodiversity Net Gain Units and Voluntary Biocredits to meet your Net Zero commitments and regulatory needs (click here to find out more about Conservation Investment ideas).
  • We can offer joint thought leadership and business advocacy opportunities to support you to become a Nature Positive leader.
  • We can offer advice and guidance on getting accreditation through our Fair to Nature certification scheme, the UK’s only certification scheme for farmers and food and beverage businesses which focuses on biodiversity and restoring the balance of nature in farming. Find out how summerdown got their creditation.
  • We can help get your employees involved in supporting nature, such as through Charity of the Year campaigns, corporate volunteering days, payroll giving, and nature action toolkits.

Save Our Wild Isles - Nature in the UK is incredible, but it’s in crisis

Save Our Wild Isles is an urgent call to action for everyone. In their first major campaign together, WWF, the RSPB and the National Trust demand an immediate halt to the destruction of UK nature and urgent action for its recovery.

How your business can make a difference.

Natures Workforce

All workplaces, no matter their size or what they do have a huge impact on nature. With the UK one of the most nature-depleted countries in the world, we’ve joined forces with the National Trust and WWF to help UK workers put nature at the heart of decision making.
