Speaking up for nature at Wales Mass Lobby
On Wednesday 17 September, people from all over Wales flocked to Cardiff in a huge show of support for urgent action to tackle the nature and climate crisis.

Act Now Change Forever

The Act Now, Change Forever mass lobby invited MSs to sit down with constituents and discuss the nature and climate issues most important to them.
RSPB Cymru joined forces with Climate Cymru and many other organisations and individuals to plan the event. Organisers scheduled meetings with MSs throughout the day and were pleased to see representatives from across the country in attendance.
In addition to the lobby, the day included a craftivism workshop, a panel event with MSs and a young people’s discussion session.
Participants were encouraged to take a selfie and ‘ruffle some feathers’, by writing what changes they would like to see for nature in Wales, on a paper feather and adding it to RSPB Cymru’s ‘wings of hope’ installation.
