Find out more about the RSPB’s work across the UK and beyond to advocate for policies that protect and restore nature.

We actively engage with the UK and country governments to ensure that their laws and policies protect and help to restore nature. We provide scientific evidence and our practical experience to support policy development, and we work with policymakers to ensure wildlife remains a priority.
Businesses have a real role to play in helping nature to recover. We work closely with responsible businesses to help drive change. This includes providing advice, working alongside them to develop nature friendly strategies, and challenging poor practices.
Nature needs our help. We’re working to protect and restore natural environments, safeguarding the best sites for wildlife and preventing further declines of wild birds.
Along with other environmental groups, we have fought for many years to ensure habitats that support rare and vulnerable wildlife are protected from the worst impacts of human development. By identifying the best places for wildlife, then ensuring they are properly protected and managed, we make sure our special places have a future.
